His Eminence prayed to our Lord and God Jesus Christ that He rests the soul of our beloved departed Queen and grants her eternal life.
In the sermon afterwards, Metropolitan Silouan thanked the late Queen for decades of selfless service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and around the World. His Eminence concluded by asking God to grant His Majesty King Charles III many healthy, prosperous and peaceful years of reign. People of our parish and members of the Antiochian Orthodox Society of Britain join His Eminence in asking God to repose the soul of late Queen Elizabeth II and praying for our new Sovereign, His Majesty King Charles III. God Save the King!
