On Holy Thursday both morning and evening services have been celebrated in our community.

In the morning, His Eminence Metropolitan Silouan celebrated the Vesperal Divine Liturgy, commemorating the institution of the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist by our Lord at the Last Supper. He was assisted by Fr Dmitry and Fr Dcn George.

On Thursday evening, His Eminence Metropolitan Silouan, assisted by the Cathedral clergy, celebrated the Orthros of Holy Friday with the reading of the Twelve Passion Gospels. As is tradition, the procession with the Cross of our Lord took place between the reading of the fifth and sixth Gospels, while the Choir chanted the solemn hymn of the antiphon: “Today He is hung upon the tree…”
