Blessed Feast of Theophany of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
On Monday evening, 5th of January, His Eminence, Metropolitan Silouan, presided at the celebration of the Divine Liturgy and the Great Blessing of the Waters at the St George’s Cathedral. Assisting him were Fr Michel, Fr Dmitry, Fr George, Dcn Ephraim and Dcn Habib, who has been visiting us from the Antiochian Archdiocse of North America.
At the conclusion of the service, His Eminence wished everyone a blessed Feast and spoke about the spiritual benefits of the holy water, which we have consecrated for the whole year ahead. He also wished both deacons many years, as the Feast of Theophany marked the first anniversary of their ordination to the holy diaconate.
