Christmas Kids Festival 2025

On Saturday, 13th December, we hosted our traditional Kids’ Christmas Festival.

The afternoon was filled with games, crafts, prayer, learning about the feast, and plenty of joyful moments, including receiving and sharing gifts. You can check the photo album of the event here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-6-KPmD5_Xvupk5jIGk-VMS6wPP8m81w&usp=drive_fs

We began with festive games and creative activities, such as decorating gingerbread men. This was followed by a very short service of the Sixth Hour, with the children themselves leading the readings. Afterwards, we spoke together about the Feast of the Nativity, as the children retold the story and shared what they know about its meaning. We then learned and sang the Apolytikion of the Nativity together.

After some food and refreshments, the children enjoyed more games with the entertainer, including dancing, the limbo game, tug of war, balloon games, and other activities.

In the meantime, each child also had the opportunity to enjoy face painting with festive designs and ornaments.

Later, the children sang Christmas songs to invite Santa to join us. Santa arrived with bells and music and led a joyful procession around the hall. Each child received a gift and had the opportunity to take a photo with Santa.

The afternoon concluded with a raffle, where a number of valuable prizes were given out.

Our sincere thanks go to all the volunteers for their hard work and dedication, and to all people for joining us and bringing so much joy to the children.

Blessed upcoming Feast of the Nativity of our Lord! See you at the Church services!
