Dear brothers and sisters,
We invite teenagers of our parish (ages 13–18) for a pre-Christmas evening of Service, Fellowship and Fun on Friday, 12 December 2025 – 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
We will be preparing Christmas gift boxes for people in need, followed by a bowling outing

Registration is required for consent and safeguarding.
Parents may stay for the first hour in the Church Hall, but bowling places are only for teens and the safeguarding-trained adult volunteers.
Programme
Before the Event — Baking at Home
Teens are invited to bake some Christmas buttermilk biscuits at home with their parents.
Any recipe is fine, but here is a simple one for your information: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/10011/butter-cookies-ii/
They may use Christmas-themed biscuit cutters to shape the dough.
Our volunteers from the St George’s Ladies group will also prepare a large batch of biscuits, so there will be plenty for packing.
6:00–7:00 PM — Church Hall of St Mary’s Church, West Twyford

Teens advised to arrive by 5:45 PM.
The teens will:
- Make simple Christmas gift cards
- Pack the biscuits into festive gift boxes
After the event, an adult volunteer will distribute these boxes based on advice of our parish priest to people who could use a little Christmas kindness.
7:00–9:00 PM — Bowling at Tenpin Acton
Venue Address: Tenpin Acton, Royale Leisure Park, Western Ave, London W3 0PA
A fun bowling night together.
Pick-up at 9:00 PM from Tenpin Acton.
Food & Cost
- Event is free
- Food is not provided.
- Teens may buy food and drinks at Tenpin Acton during bowling. Parents are asked to give them pocket money if they wish.
Note
This is a teens-only event from start to finish. Only safeguarding-trained volunteers will be present. Registration is required.
