Blessed Holy Tuesday, dear brothers and sisters!
This evening, we celebrated by anticipation the Bridegroom Orthros of Holy Wednesday. At the end of the service, Fr Michel continued with the series of short Holy Week talks.
Abouna spoke about several powerful images of the spiritual life, drawn from the Gospel readings and chants over the past three days. The most striking of those, is the image of repentance shown by the sinful woman, who anointed the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ with oil and tears. Her act of love and repentance brought her salvation. It offers a model for us all as we journey through this Holy Week and our life.
